Apparently a full day at school, two hours on a waterslide, followed by an hour of running full-tilt around the house as a super hero or a princess was what was needed.

In her defense, Tiff makes a fabulous lasagna. Apparently I need to work on not being shrill and drop 400 lbs. before my big television debut however For Your Consideration...

Every Thursday, Tiffany and I go to the other's house and help clean in the morning. Thursday nights, we cook a family dinner together. There is lots of ribbing, burning and boiling each Thursday. We've been cookin' up an idea and here's just a taste of what you're in store for.

Ladies and Gentlemen, IT'S THE MUPPET SHOW!

So I have both kids at home today and what better thing to do than put on Season One of the Muppet Show? My kids have been enjoying it and really? I have loved it as well but why oh WHY would they let Florence Henderson sing? PAINFUL. And I kept hoping that, during the singing number, Animal would come flying out and tackle her and put us out of our misery but NO. Just a flighty butterfly floating around occasionally. Nothing to distract you from the horrible, horrible strangled gargling coming out of her.

During the next number Lucy looked at me and said, "Mama, she isn't a very good singer, is she? I think all the monsters make her sound a little better but only when they are singing with her."

Seems Lucy's channeling Simon Cowell and I like it.
