Speaking of Shiny!

Hello, DCPS! How's it hanging?

Bruise on her forehead - compliments of Charlie. Croquet ball.
Black eye - comliments of Charlie. He also has an egg on his forehead. Head-to-head combat.
Fingers buddy-taped - minor fracture on pinky. We're fairly certain Charlie had no hand in this one.
So far, summer has been a hoot!

when my boys' legs are all bruised and scaped we call them 'summer legs'...just means that they've been outside playing, which is what they should be doing!
I'm with Life on this one. It just means that your children are enjoying their summer.
Or, as Robin William says in "Dead Poets Society", "Sucking all the marrow out of life doesn't mean choking on the bone."
Tell your kids to stop choking on the bone :).
Oh dear. Poor girl. That's life with a brother I guess.
