Tuesday Tattle - 3rd edition (er, on Wednesday this week because I didn't achieve much and was hoping that an extra day would help - a big fat NOPE on that one). Here we go (gulp.)
1. To lose 12 lbs. in the next 4 months.
Stayed the same. A great triumph considering all of the Peppermint Patties consumed at friends' house when we discovered the bag on top of their fridge. Who buys those? I guess the more important question is why did I eat them?
2. To bag up at least one bag of "stuff" a week. Either to donate, throw away or put away for a yard sale.
My friend, Tiffany cleaned out all of our junk drawers (yes, that's junk drawers, plural). We threw out 2 small boxes of crap. And I use "we" loosely. It was all her but none the less, the junk is gone. Now I just have to put away the stuff that didn't actually belong in the junk drawers. That stuff is still on the buffet. I can't promise anything.
3. To face our Everest: the garage.
No. No. And No. I actually added to the pile with some rogue Christmas wrap. Opened the door, tossed it in and ran like hell.
To be more patient with my kids.
Okay, if you don't count my monumental meltdown in the mall last Thursday where I literally dragged my children from the Disney Store, all the while screaming at my husband -and this continued until we got down to the van in the garage but on the way I also may have screamed at a security guard (who, although I was OBVIOUSLY in a fragile state, decided that it was his civic duty to tell me that it was unsafe to take a stroller on the escalator) and perhaps the stupid questionnaire kid standing at the bottom of said escalator who thought a red-faced crying and screaming woman was within his target demographic then it wasn't a bad week. Oh wait, there was also the chicken upchucking incident at dinner last night. Peanut had the same piece of masticated chicken in her mouth for 15 minutes. I lost it and told her to "Send it down to your belly, right now!". Well, she gagged on it and threw up. One of my prouder parenting moments.
I think it is safe to say that I'm not worthy of any gold stars this week. See ya on Tuesday.

Atleast you're making some progress and thinking about your goals as you go about your daily activities (right!?)
We all get meltdown moments. Muddle through and know the next day/hour/whatever will be better!
