To lose 12 lbs. in the next 4 months. An average of 3 lbs. a month. I can do that.
To bag up at least one bag of "stuff" a week. Either to donate, throw away or put away for a yard sale. We have too much crap and it is time to pair down for goodness sake. I started this morning. I've put a bag of the kids' crap into the garage for a yard sale sometime in the spring. Toys that haven't been played with or that are just too big or annoying to deal with. Gone. Ahhhh. Next on my to do list - our
To face our Everest: the garage. We've been opening the door, throwing stuff in and quickly closing the door so 1. the neighbors don't call Dateline to do a segment on hoarding and 2. we don't die under a mountain of crap that has broken loose from the pile and crushed us to death only to be found by a location scout for Dateline two weeks after our death.
The reason we have been putting this task off for so long is because there are spiders in there. Webs everywhere. I'm breaking out in hives just thinking about it. Yet, more than once during the last week I've had to run for my life while putting the Christmas decorations away because an avalanche of crap has been launched by just opening the door. It is time to tackle this beast.
To be more patient with my kids. I really need to work on this. Especially during the witching hour, while I'm trying to make dinner and the kids are going bat shit off the walls. I lose it each. and. every. time. and I hate that about myself.
There it is. My list. I could go on but I'm trying to be realistic about my goals. I'll update on Tuesdays mostly to give myself a kick in the ass every week.

good list.
i have to do each of those things too! we have spiders in our garage too - yick.
I think I'm up for the bag of crap a week thing. I actually have a friend whose mother is a real life hoarder, that's enough to put the fear of God into me. So I'm definitely simplifying my life. In the house anyway, there's no way I'm dumping any of my treasures in the barn. lol
